Candidates running for the STNC Board Elections to be held August 4, 2012. Congratulations to all verified candidates on your willingness to serve the Sunland-Tujunga community.
The location for Saturday's Region 1 Candidate Training Session has now been confirmed for:
Lake View Terrace Branch Library Community Room 12002 Osborne Street Lake View Terrace 91342 818-890-7404
The library is located on the south side of the Osborne Street/Foothill Boulevard intersection (next to the future Children's Museum in the Hansen Dam Recreation Area).
The doors will open at 2:30 p.m. for registration and an informal meet and greet. We will begin the training session promptly at 3:00 p.m. The training session, including questions and answers, may last until 5:00 p.m. The library closes at 5:30 p.m. so we need to be out of the room before then.
Thanks to everyone who has sent an RSVP; if you haven't already done so and will (or may) be attending, please RSVP by 5:00 p.m. tomorrow Friday so we have an accurate count.
If any Neighborhood Council would like to bring any refreshments or snacks, that would be appreciated by all.
