Angeles National Forest Public Meeting on 7/24/12

District Ranger Invitation - Big Tujunga Reservoir Sediment Removal project, proposed by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works will hold a meeting at North Valley City Hall on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 - 6-8 p.m. This meeting is part of the public scoping required by the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). Short informational presentations will be given by both the Forest Servce and DPW, and will include the DPW proposal, an estimated project timetable, and an overview of the environmental review process. The remainder of the meeting will be an open house format, with staff available to answer questions and take written coments. Notice of this meeting is being sent as a follow up to a May 10, 2012 Big Tujunga Sediment Removal Project notification, sent out to 275 interested parties.
