Windblown Ash/Dust Advisory

Santa Ana winds are causing ash and dust from recently burned areas to fall in Los Angeles County, especially in the San Fernando and San Gabriel valleys.

While particulate matters concentrations have not reached Unhealthy levels at this time, caution is advised to minimize exposure to falling ash and windblown dust.

In areas with significant ash and dust in the air: Everyone, especially people with heart or lung disease, including asthma, and older adults and children, should limit outdoor activities in any area where ash is observed in the air.
