Dear Neighbors,

Foothill Community organizations are hosting the Los Angeles City Council District 2 Candidates Debate tomorrow, Saturday at North Valley City Hall. Meet and Greet the candidates Christine Essel and Paul Krekorian at 12 noon. Debate begins at 1 p.m.

Award winning broadcast journalist and our own community resident Christine Gonzalez (FOX 11) will moderate the debate. There will be several community specific questions, audience questions and a chance for the candidates to ask each other a question.

Sample ballots have started to arrive in the mail for this special runoff election to be held on Tuesday, December 8th, 2009.

Light refreshments will be available. Please tell your friends and neighbors. More details on the event are below.

Special thanks to the community groups listed at the bottom of this e-mail for their time in coordinating this event so you can be informed about each of these candidates before voting.
