The City of Los Angeles invites you to participate in the 2013 African American Heritage Month Poster Competition.This year’s theme is “Continuing the Dream: African Americans at the Crossroads of Freedom and Equality.” Contest participation requires the creation of an original artwork portraying a pioneer from a list that includes Frederick Douglass, Biddy Mason, Harry Belafonte, and many others.
The contest is open to students, K-12, in Los Angeles County.
