STNC Outreach Committee Report 4-10-13

1.     May meeting will celebrate the 10^th anniversary of the STNC.  We will feature accomplishments through the years and invite past officers to attend.  We are asking that the meeting start ½ hour early that night.

2.     Outreach Committee is actively pursuing getting a Youth rep to join the STNC board.  Also a Region 1 rep.

3.     It is expected that one monument sign will be completed through the Chamber.  Financial help from the STNC will be requested for the other two as more cost details are known.

4.     Outreach committee will hold video camera training classes after May 1^st.  Sign up if you are interested.

5.     Outreach committee is discussing updating the STNC website and getting costs to do so.  If you have an interest, please let us know.

6.     Sandra Baugus will be the go to person to coordinate a traffic count effort near the Verdugo Hills Golf Course.

7.     Krystee Clark will work with volunteers from other NCs to schedule a candidates forum for Mayor, Controller, City Attorney prior to the May 21 election.

8.     The City now has a Delivery of City Services App

9.     Ideas to plan a “Taste of Tujunga” event being considered.

10.  Home Tour will be May 11.
