$3 Billion Streets Bond Measure - Meeting 4/16 at 6 pm

--> LOS ANGELES  $3 Billion STREET BOND MEASURE is coming back and Councilmembers Englander (12) and Buscaino (15) are trying to reach Neighborhood Councils through the various alliances to get their message out.  The cost to property owners is $24 average and $120 in 10 years.  CF-13-1300-S1.  This is an important issue and we want to reach out to as many stakeholders as possible with the facts.  Please become informed at these various meetings and please weigh in to CM Englander and Buscaino.  Please see earlier post on this issue and attend upcoming meetings.

COUNCILMEMBER ENGLANDER INVITES YOU TO ATTEND A SPECIAL SAN FERNANDO VALLEY PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE MEETING REGARDING THE STREET BOND PROPOSAL

I would like to invite you to attend a special Committee Meeting of the City of Los Angeles Public Works Committee tomorrow night at Van Nuys City Hall.
This is your opportunity to welcome the Committee to the San Fernando Valley and offer your ideas and suggestions and ask questions on the proposed street bond measure to repair of 8,700 miles of failed streets throughout Los Angeles.
Los Angeles has the worst streets of any major city in the nation. The current 60 year backlog keeps growing and the cost to local residents and business on vehicle maintenance and ownership continues to grow along with it.

Your voice is critical as we move forward to make a decision on placing this item on a future ballot to let all the voters decide.
