Wireless Telecommunications Facility
A Wireless Telecommunications Facility designed as a pine tree reaching a height of 55 feet is proposed at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church at the corner of Apperson and Tujunga Canyon Blvd. The installation will include equipment cabinets, etc. located at grade level behind and 8 foot CMU retaining wall and chain-link fence enclosing an approximate 330 sq. ft. lease area. Metro PCS is the applicant.
The STNC's Land Use Committee has met with representatives from Metro PCS on March 5 and April 16 and announced the proposal in weekly STNC E-Newsletters and at meetings.
The next step is the Zoning Administrator hearing. Posting of the hearing will be placed on the church property.
Anyone interested in commenting on this proposal should send comments to Nicholas Hendricks at LA City Planning.
