The Department of Public Works' Bureau of Sanitation invites you to attend the opening of our "On the Road to Zero Waste" educational exhibit that will showcase our Solid Resources Divisions.
DATE: Tuesday, August 18, 2009
TIME: 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
LOCATION: City Hall, 200 N. Spring St., 3rd Floor Rotunda, Los Angeles, CA 90012
As the leader in recycling among the ten largest populated cities in the nation, this educational exhibit will show the Sanitation programs and services that help the city achieve its 65 percent diversion rate of solid waste from landfills and the steps we are taking to meet the objective of a 70 percent diversion of solid waste by 2015.
Join us to celebrate the opening of our new educational exhibit, "On the Road to Zero Waste." The exhibit will be open until September 18, 2009.
