Watch the Road
UPDATE: The STNC has ordered signs and will have them ready for distribution at the September 2012 STNC meeting. A representative from the Dept. of Transportation will give a short presentation. Save the Date: Sept. 12 to pick up your signs.
The Los Angeles Department of Transportation's Watch the Road program has a one time offer to receive up to 110 personalized lawn signs delivered to each Neighborhood Council Office.
The signs are to be given out to the council's constituents as a way of reminding residents to be alert, and drivers to be cautious of kids walking or playing in the neighborhood. Each neighborhood council is allowed up to 110 personalized lawn signs, free of charge.
