The Council plays a critical role in the community and plans to focus on public safety, community improvement and land use in the coming years.
You can run for a seat on the board by completing and sending in the Candidate Filing Form to be received by February 25, 2010 at the Los Angeles City Clerk's office. Candidates for the printed ballot have been received. You may enter as a write in candidate. You may send in the Candidate Filing Form by Mail: Office of the City Clerk - Election Division Piper Technical Center 555 Ramirez Street 3rd Floor, Space 300 Los Angeles, CA 90012 by Fax: (213) 978-0376. Please be sure to verify that the City Clerk has received your application and Candidate Statement.
