6:45 PM - Call to Order -- Please note: meeting will start on time. Pledge of Allegiance, Meeting overview, Introduction of STNC Board, Elected Officials, City staff, LAPD Sr. Lead, DONE rep, Handouts, notices, sign-in sheets, speaker cards, agenda timeline, sound system.
1. President’s Report & Announcements – Dan McManus
2. PUBLIC COMMENTS – please fill out speaker card and please line up when the president calls everyone up - [ STNC Board members will give their reports/comments during Group, Region & Other Committee reports.]
3. Consent Agenda – Unless otherwise requested, the following items will be voted on by consent:
a. Treasurer’s Report: Motion to receive August 2012 STNC Financial Report
b. Secretary’s Report: Approval of July 2012 minutes
4. WIRELESS TELECOMMUNICATIONS FACILITY AT OUR LADY OF LOURDES CHURCH – Motion to support, non-support or no comment and letter to the Zoning Administrator by August 9, 2012. Neighbors have requested time to speak and Metro PCS is expected to be present. Due to another meeting at the church on this issue, neighbor has requested to speak early.
5. STNC BOARD ELECTIONS – Early Results Report, Installation will be at September meeting
6. Discussion / Possible Action: Park & Ride in Sunland Proposal – Thomas Lopez, Sunland resident
7. Discussion/Possible Action: LAND USE COMMITTEE – Tomi Lyn Bowling
a. LUC recommends support for Small Lot Subdivision on Commerce Avenue
b. LUC letter to City Planning Dept. Michael LoGrande regarding Mobility Element
c. Verdugo Hills Golf Course – Oct 10 meeting – Karen Zimmerman
