Bicycle Plan Meeting Monday, Dec 7 at 7 pm

Dear Neighbors,

Please join the STNC Region 1 Rep, John Laue, at North Valley City Hall on Monday, December 7, at 7:00 PM to discuss the City’s Bicycle Master Plan. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss and draft some specific recommendations for the STNC to board to recommend to the City at either the December or January STNC board meetings.

The public comment period for the City’s Master Bicycle Plan has been extended until January. More info and 2009 Bicycle Plan (Draft) can be found at the LA City Planning web site or http://www.labikeplan.org/bikeway_maps/

Everyone is welcome to attend. We’ll see you at North Valley City Hall on Monday night – 7:00.

2. Update on the process the city is using to develop its Master Plan for Bicycles.

3. Description and outline of the plan in Sunland/Tujunga/Lakeview Terrace.

4. Description with news article about La Crescenta's plans for bicycle lanes on Foothill Blvd.

5. Alternative Plan with proposed improvements to the LA's Master Plan for bicycles.

6. Discussion and input from meeting attendees.

7. Development of recommendations for STNC board approval.

8. Adjournment
