Don't Miss the Deadline to Apply for Business Tax Breaks!
As part of the City's ongoing efforts to attract and retain businesses and improve the business climate, they passed tax reform measures in 2004 totaling over $92 million in business tax relief.
Starting January 1, 2007, most businesses will receive a 4% rate reduction, and the small business exemption was raised from $50,000 to $100,000 in gross receipts.
To take advantage of these tax breaks, businesses must file with the Office of Finance by February 28, 2007!
