Discussion/Action: The Sunland-Tujunga Neighborhood Council strongly requests that the Code Enforcement Section of the Housing Dept. be transferred to the Dept. of Building and Safety. This will be more cost effective and provide better, more efficient service to our communities. It will also strengthen the enforcement of not only multi-family housing requirements, but, also commercial, industrial, the General and Community Specific plans and the LAMC for which they are already trained for, as suggested by the Controller’s office and approved by the City Council approximately 5 years ago (2mins) 13.
