Oak Trees on McGroarty

At the October 19, 2009 meeting of the STNC's Land Use Committee the property owner informed the community that the City is requiring him to remove old oak trees to widen the street in the 8330 area of McGroarty in Sunland. The meeting room was filled with surrounding neighbors opposed to this demand by the City.

The LUC has voted unanimously to support the neighbors that these oaks not be removed and that a waiver be granted to this property owner.
