Please come tonight (June 18 at 7 p.m.) and bring your neighbors to our Tujunga Neighborhood Watch meeting at 7 pm at North Valley City Hall. Tujunga Senior Lead Officer Rich Wall’s guest will speak on the topic Harden The Target! Never give a Burglar an Even Break! We will be discussing methods of Home and Personal Protection. Crime is still lower in the Sunland- Tujunga area than in other areas of Los Angeles, but, times are getting tougher and crime is on the rise. Mark your calendar for Thursday, June 19, to join us at North Valley City Hall to participate in the following meetings:

STNC Safety Committee - 6- 6:45 pm. Bring your concerns for our Senior Lead Officers. We will also have open public forum. We want to hear from you on how we can improve the safety of our community. We will be discussing the Safety Committees participation in the 4th of July festivities as well as The Safety Fair for National Night Out on Tuesday, August 5.

You are also invited to stay for the S-T SERVS meeting starting immediately at 6:45 pm -7:30 pm. ST-SERVS (Safety & Emergency Response Volunteer Service) supports the Fire & Police Dept. Volunteer Programs such as CERT (Community Emergency Response Training), Neighborhood Watch, etc. Meeting topics will include disaster preparedness for our community and readiness for a Major So. Cal. Call Out exercise in November.

The STNC Outreach Committee Meeting will start at 7:30 pm to 8:15 pm. This is an extremely important meeting. Bring your ideas. You do not have to be a board member or committee member to participate. Everyone is welcome to attend. Everyone's ideas will be put on the table and discussed. Note: Future meeting times and dates will be voted on and may be changed to meet the needs of those who wish to participate.
